Missed connections can be funny little anecdotes to read (or strange and creepy) on public forums like Craigslist...but it can also be a chance to get a peek into some other completely different world, but one that is actually going on around us all the time. I'm not sure if that sentence even makes any sense, but I just sort of like the idea of missed connections...and most of all, the small possibility that they could become actual connections!
There is this incredibly charming blog, Missed Connections, where artist, Sophie Blackall, from Brooklyn, takes notable missed connections from sites and then illustrates them and brings them to life! I heart this idea and blog, and you may enjoy it too!
There was a short film made about it that talks/shows more about it. It's lovely.
