It's Monday and for those of you that indulge, Monday evenings often bring a new episode of Gossip Girl. Even if you do not view this cultish show (which maybe you should), you perhaps can relate to the flannel/plaid craze that has taken over, which can be seen in the clothes worn by the "It" cast, almost to the point of ridiculousness...

My friends and I laugh about flannel and plaid items these days, while unabashedly partaking in the trendiness as well. "Heyyy, nice flannel. Did you buy that new (aka Urban Oufitters), or is it Good Will?" Of course, then there is my friend Leah who is just happy that her usual outfits have finally now come into fashion (she always knew her Dad's old shirts would become the next cool thing).

If you just open your eyes, it is truly all over the place. Good thing flannel is warm, because it also makes for a cozy winter outfit. Yay for lumberjack chic.
